CL: Pontoon in the background

Scroll thru the pics and you'll notice a trashed pontoon in the background, I was thinking about offering a few bucks for it and the trailer it's on. Even though the entire thing is not pictured, anyone care to guess how long it is? i'm thinking it's in the 16-18' range.

I would imagine since the tri-hull is a 17' model, that the pontoon appears to be in the same range plus or minus a foot. My question is, why would you want either one? They both look like trash.

Is it me or is that one with the hard top have a second steering wheel? They all look pretty ratty.

I'd say probably 18 to 20. That is a steel pontoon, not many were shorter than that. That trailer might be trashed though, if you notice the tires are directly against the tubes, making me think the axles may have collapsed.

Someone rigged an extension on the helm of the Gulfstream so you could stand up and steer behind the hard top. ALMOST looks like it retracts back in (which would be pretty cool).

I wouldn't offer more for that 'toon than the scrap value of the metal. Though, it wouldn't take a lot of work to make yourself a decent barge from her.

I can't imagine that he has ANYTHING that is worth more than about $20 and a case of beer on a Saturday afternoon.

The boats looks like junk, but that hardtop piece is probably worth something.

Those boats would cost a fortune to rehab IMO.

He wants $250 for it, ouch! I'd have too much into it after repairs/facelift.

You can find one like it for free out there too ... just keep your eyes peeled.
