Clamping larger wires into cowling

1989 90hp crossflow J90TLAEM. I have upsized my wire to #2 from my center console to the engine. Problem is when carried into the engine, I can no longer use the original clamp. Just curious what others have done. I can get longer screws but still seems to pinch on the inside of the clamp.

I just grind them out a bit, as i definitely didnt want the wire pinching in there

As said above, grind them out or make up a different clamp.
