I found a number of hits that explain how to index spark plugs and I do understand the plug gap needs to point toward the injector, but I did see some that implied it had to be pointed at or above the injector. This seems to be an issue on a 2000 225 hp evinrude fitch ram since the spark plug is above the corresponding injector so the spark plug gap would be facing the injector but downward. Is that ok? Some hits imply as long as the gap is facing the injector it's ok? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance. John
