Classic Fifty 45 hp tach

Just acquired this engine and am interested in installing a tach. Possible? What do I need and how do I hook up? Thanks

Definately possible. Out of your remote control there should be a short set of wires with a rubber connector at the end. You need the instrument harness that fits in there and an outboard tachometer.

Thanks! Appreciate the help. What functions are available at the plug? I believe it is a 5 pin connector. Got to get a manual one of these days!
