I have a flats boat with a totally enclosed tank. I can't take it out but I do have it emptied and ready to be cleaned. What is the best way to clean an enclosed aluminum tank?

I keep having small particles clog up my carbs. The boat works with a different fuel source but the main tank gets the trash is in.

Problem I have is that my tube that exits the tank is not at the lowest part of the tank (even when tilted on the trailer). So I keep leaving stuff behind after I attempt to clean it with a muriatic acid/water mixture.

Idea's??

Thanks,

SAM

I had a coleman lantern keep clogging on me one time. I called them and they told me to fill it with denatured alcohol let it sit 48 hours and drain it. It worked like a charm and the tank was shiny and spotless after that.

Just food for thought...............
