I would not use something that strong.There are hull cleaners available which wont dry out the gelcoat.If you do use the ww cleaner,make sure you put a good coat of wax on it after you are done cleaning.You may do better with a cleaner wax so you get both done. Charlie

Dave...<br /><br />Bar-Keepers Friend will do a great job of cleaning your gelcoat. It cleans with Oxalic acid [same cleaning agent found in more expensive hull cleaners]<br /><br />Comes in a can much like Ajax and can be found in the same location as other cleaners. Wal-Mart sell a large can for under $2.<br /><br />Just like other hull cleaners you will have to wax after using BKF...
