cleaning carb?

What is the best way to clean the carb, without taking it off? Can I get it cleaned without taking it off?

It cannot be effectively cleaned without completely disassembling it.

Amen to that . I just done three of them Sunday . I couldn't imagine getting a thourough cleaning accomplished without taking the carb off first .

Imagine where all that crud and cleaning fluid would go if you didn't take it off!!
