cleaning out a permanent tank

I have a bass tracker that probably has "stale" gas in it. I was wanting to get all the trash out of it but I'm not sure the best way to get it out. I'm used to portable tanks in john boats that can just be dumped out. Is there any additive I should put in it to raise the grit before I siphon it out... Anybody have any advice on how to clean it best??? <br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Brent
