Good Day Fellow Mariners,

I purchased a 1994 Four Winns a couple of years ago. It was in pretty bad shape, having sat in a parking lot in Maryland for several years uncovered. I have done quite a bit of work on it and am getting somewhat close to putting it in the water, for the first time. I have been testing the engine by way of a 5 gallon fuel can. The onboard tank has close to 50 gallons of old fuel in it. I have heard that there are companies that will come to you, remove the old fuel, de-varnish the tank (if that's the correct term), and take the old fuel away. Is this true? I live in No. Va. and would be interested in hearing if there are such companies that could come to my house and service the fuel tank.

Thank you for your consideration in this unusual matter. :)

Have also heard this can be done but have not found one. Might suggest search for chemical waste companies

Someone like safety-kleen

If anything else get the old gas gone then use something like a power waster thru the tank sender opening
