I live at the lake, and my pontoon stays in the water all of the time, except if I take it out to go to another lake (which I usually take my fishing boat), or pull it for cleaning and maintenance. I pull mine every once in a while, and pressure wash the bottoms. A person also could put on a bathing suit, and get into the water, and scrub the bottom with something, but the pressure washer is a lot easier. Watch out for Ryan though.
