Cleaning Powerhead 1988 Force 125hp

Hello Everybody

I want to clean the grime from My Powerhead and cowling it's a 1988 Force 125hp. I'm not sure what to use.

On My Cars & Bikes I've used foaming engine brite.

Is this good to use on My powerhead if I let it dry out well and then lube all linkage and cables before I start it ?

If it's not can Someone let Me know what I should use?

I use seafoam in an areisol can. Works FANTASTIC! let soak in and wash off with water.
