Last week I was at the lake for a few days and left the tarp off and parked under some trees. It looks like some seeds fell off the tree onto the seats and floor. Now there are yellow spots looks like mustard that will not come off I tryed spray nine a little came off but most stayed on any ideas thanks

Re: cleaning seats

Try Starbrite Vinyl Shampoo, stuff works great, dried fish blood after soaking,,came right out..dont be tempted to use heavy duty stuff,it kills the vinyl.

Re: cleaning seats

Hi Leafs,

I have run into the mustard stains myself, mine were caused from the poplar trees at our lake, they shed what looks like a small icecream cone with yellowish orange goo in them, the dryer the year the stickier these pods seem to be.

I have tried the mr. clean on them and have had no luck. I am lucky because most of my stains are between the seat cusions, but have one on my babe deck that I would like to get off.

I hope you find a way to get them off, and look forward to hearing what works, I think the longer they are left on the harder it is to get rid of. One of my buddies used gasoline while the stains were fresh and it worked for him. I tried gasoling on an inconspicuous place a few weeks later and could not clean it.
