Re: Clever Boat Names

I can tell you that anyone who has the word "-holic" or "H2O" in their boat name is not nearly as clever as they think. ;)

Re: Clever Boat Names

After renaming my first boat and having problem after problem, my current boat will not be renamed.

It was a Florida boat named "Key Player".
Now that I have it in Delaware, I have rationalized the name for my situation.

Key Player, as in an indespensable part of my fishing team.

My favorite name is "Purple Hays".
It is a tug boat owned by the Hays Towing Co, in Chester Pa.
I'm not sure if she is still in service, and yes she was painted purple.

I've had my boat for three years now and it doesn't have a "new" name because after removing the old name from the stern "Triple Threat" I was told it was bad luck to rename a boat. "Triple Threat" doesn't have a lot of personal meaning to me. Not really superstitious but I figure I better not challange the "sea gods!" LoL
