Clinton Eska 3HP - Is there a fuel filter?

OK, I was on here a week or so ago mentioning how reliable my little Clinton 3HP has been, and of course, this past weekend it started stalling on me.

I didn't have much time to mess with it, but a buddy of mine that got to the cottage before me said that it had run out of gas and when he looked in the little tank it appeared to have a lot of junk in it. He didn't bother to drain/clean that out, he just refilled it. It didn't hit me until just now that it was probably that junk in the gas that caused me the stalling.

Does anyone know if they have a fuel filter anywhere? I would assume it is serviceable? I really don't want to disassemble the carb this week.

Clinton Model K3003106 B
type XTV 52203

Thanks!

Not unless some one put one on it, follow the gas line to the carb. if your luck is like mine you got the crud in it already, maybe just drop the float bowel and spray up a little carb cleaner. I put a cheap inline from autozone on my eska and even with new lines, clean tank (no visable rust) I still could see lots of little crud getting into the fuel filter.
