In an effort to cut down on asking the same questions over and over I did a search and tried to locate an answer to this question but could not find one.

I see from previous posts that Lubriplate is a product that can be used to lube the L/U of my motor, however I can't seem to find it so I went with plan B and tried to find some 90 weight oil to use. The parts stores do not have straight 90 weight oil here they have 80/90 weight. Evidently this means when the oil reaches 80 degrees it is 90 weight. Is this acceptable to use or is it too heavy until it hits 80 degrees?

Thanks,

Brian

Re: Clinton K-751 L/U Lube Question

Not sure what the Clinton is supposed to have in it, but if you are looking for Lubriplate 105, go to your NAPA Auto Parts Store and ask for Lubriplate No. 105 Motor Assembly Grease, part number 765-2651. They should have it.
