Clinton K900 year?

Just picked up a this clinton and was wondering what year it is, also looking for some place to find parts. The thing must have sat for some time as it won't turn over with the recoil starter, any ideas?<br /><br />Model K900 5206D<br />Serial 1570283

Im pretty sure it is a 78.<br /> Give us some details,when you say doesnt turn over with recoil.Do you mean engine cant be turned or it doesnt ingage the motor.<br /> Ebay is a pretty good place to start for parts.<br /> Parts and parts motors appear regularly.<br /> try bobber1@cox.net former dealer.Clinton is<br />out of business but made motors for a number of applications.A small engine shop or even<br />NAPA auto parts may have parts for the power head.

Found out that the motor was locked up in lower end, did not have a manual so broke the shift rod when trying to drop it. Then had to pull power head to be able to fix it. Now without a manual don't want to try to work on lower end until I know how it is suppose to come apart and go back together. I will try bobber1, thanks for the response.
