Closed Bow Ladders Questions

Hey now, winter's coming to a close. We're almost back in business.

Does anyone have the background on the ladders under the dash on some Starcraft closed bow models? Seems like a nice feature.

Was it only a design feature of some models or an option?

Do we have to replace the whole dash to install one?

What are the alternatives? No 'slide a cooler under the dash' responses please

i think it was optional on 18' holidays, as i've seen original looking boats both with and w/o one. no, i don't think you have to replace the dash, and they look easy to build. one slick alternative might be to have one hinged at the top so it swings up under the dash when not needed.

on my Holiner, i'm mounting a cooler next to the dash.

Under dash steps are exclusive to some years of Holidays, but there's nothing to stop you from building your own except lack of room.
