Re: clunking sound

my 150 had same issue found out it was forward gear and clutch dog ears rounded slightly causing them to slip had them machined and fixed prob. new gear and dog lots of $$. will have to dissasemble to get forward gear out. but first i just flipped clutch dog around and tried it fixed for awhile then were gear was worn just wore clutch dog again. was told was caused by misadjusted carbs and slowly engaging to forward gear.
