Since that's a split line gearcase, where the bottom half unscrews from the top, it's really easy. You only need a new shift dog, a new peice of 'spagetti' seal, and some '1000 sealer', or equivalant, and a repair manual.<br />Don't take that case apart without a manual. It is really important to have one. You can get one from your library, or order a copy from iboats, or order a (preffered) OEM one from
here.<br /><br />There's no breakdown of that particulair gearcase that I'm aware of online. The repair manual will have a breakdown though.<br /><br />Good luck!
