Clymer or Seloc

I'm looking for a reapir manual for my 69' Merc 80hp. I have a Clymer form 1978/79 and it isn't very helpful. I saw that the Seloc is sold on this site. Is it a better manual? Thanks

The one you have will give you the basics. For what you want. find the OEM manual for your exact motor. Not much more money.

Clymer and Seloc are about equal, Kozman, but have their weak spots in different places.<br /><br />The weak spot in OEM Manuals is that they often assume you are a pro, know the technical terminology and have a full complement of pro tools.<br /><br />Good luck.
