If it's a CMC unit try Cook-mfg.com.

You may want to try, 1-800-654-3697. That's CMC's phone #.

Look at yourself and see if you can tell what is wrong with it, might be low on fluid or it could be the motor is bad but don't just take his word for it, if it is seals it should work normally just leak.

The motors can be rebuilt pretty easily by a local alternator shop, never done the seals.

Did I get you to look at the StCloud Craigs list?
I was going to buy the same CMC, BUT without seeing it and just phone conversations, and the fact that there is little info out in internet land for the unit,The thought of why is it so cheap? why dont he repair it and get full price.Kinda made me shy away. But if someone was willing to take a chance,I'm sure the seals probably O-Rings can be easily found. But if something else would be not working where can the hard to find parts be got??? I tried every avenue available with no positive results for parts or advice!

Re: CMC Power tilt question

Well i took a chance and bought it and have know spent 12+ hours working on it and cant figure out why it wont pump. The motor works but whenever fluid is in the pump it bougs down like its at the end of its stroke and no fluid will come out the hoses. Its seams the motor and cylinder are fine but there is something wrong with the pump. I try'ed calling cmc but the were closed friday so ill try them on monday. dew2 did you call cmc? Oh ya there's no seals and only 2 o-rings but they would only make it leak, so the guy didn't know what he was talking about or he just ripped me off, or both.

Yes I called them, I didnt really get anywhere with them. They wanted me to bring it in and have their guys look at it.I didnt have it and told them.asked if parts were available and if I could buy them, again they said they had to see it.I got discusted and quit!
Did you give the asking price? Sure hope you got a better deal than what he was asking!
Let me know how it turns out for you. I may have bought it as you did, but I wasn't going to drive 60 miles after getting so little info from the owner. I think he tried to get parts and also got discusted.

Re: CMC Power tilt question

The guy wont budge on the price but he said the paid 100 for the unit and 125 to get the motor rebuilt. But i just got it to work somewhat but it keeps getting full of air. It turns out someone put two of the valves in the wrong way, so at some point some took it apart and couldnt figure out how to put it back to gather. Ill let ya know how it turns out, but i got hope now that i can fix it.

-Update- Got it working finally. Turns out two of the valves were installed upside down so i fix that and it works perfect. Dint need any parts or seals, except some oil.
