Hi, I have a 1985 Basstracker III , It is analuminum boat with wood deck. It had carpet covering all decks and sides. I got tired or getting sandblasted and removed all the carpet! I am thinking about using Kool Seal to coat the entire inside of the boat. Has anybody heard of doing this? Will it hold up?Any recomendations for another easy to use product that will work well? Thanks, Tight Lines!

Kool Seal … sounds like a marine mammal that smokes cigarettes. :)

There is something called DuraBak, a non-skid coating that is tough as nails, if that is what you are look for.

http://www.nonslipcoating.com/

Kool Seal is a roof sealer used on metal roofs. I"ve used it on a tin roof and it seems pretty tough when it dries, It is rubber and it is pliable. I'll check out the Durabak site. Thanks
