1988 5.0 GM cobra. Is it at all possible to replace the old log type manifolds, with center rise manifolds (with appropiate risers) without major modifications. If so what would be the biggest advantage, if any, of doing this. I have been told that center rise manifolds are more efficient, less expensive, and more readily available. I would assume they would have to be extended to match the exhaust Y pipe. Thanks in advance
