After lots of reading, im going to replace the lower shift cable in my 87 dog clutch cobra drive. Any tips or tricks i need to know about when removing the pivot housing? Anything to watch out for? Both bellows are new within the last couple years and are still in very good condition-should they still be replaced or can i get them off the pivot housing without damage? I have two tools-the plate that holds the shift lever at 90 degrees and the other one that holds the cable at the right length. Just trying to get everything straight in my head first so things go as smoothly as possible. Anyone have a link to any videos of this being done? I cant believe with this being such a problem with these drives i cant find anything. Would be nice to actually SEE it be done, not just read about it. Pics are nice but video is nicer. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, but most of those videos are for
stringers or sei. and I've seen them already. I put the cable in this weekend and it wasn't that bad. It shifts nice and smooth now without activating the Esa on the trailer. Waiting for freeze danger to pass before I put it in the lake.
