When I first got it, it would receive just fine but it would not transmit. You can hear the other radio pick it up when you hold the PTT button but you cannot hear anyone talking. Through out the summer it started working fine so I figure we had done something when we first got it to cause the problem.. Now this spring its doing it again. Weve only had it a little over a year and it has a 3 year warranty but before I call cobra I wanted to make sure we were not missing something. Only thing it says in the manual about not transmitting is to change channels, it may not transmit on that channel.. Tried every channel there is and nothing picks up.
