I have reviewed the referenced "how to adjust cobra"
and find it somewhat hard to follow. I replaced my lower shift cable going to drive last year and have just had the upper rebuilt. I believe the cable is setting at the pecified 7 & 3/8 (or 5/8- to the book anyway) From that point, is the point of adjusting to get the neutral position of the shift lever (boat side) even with it's counterpart on the OD its self? Or could there be a situation where it would be offset? Does anyone have a round about as to pricing range for an adjustment?
