Coils..1976, 135 Evinrude

We have a new set of coils for the engine, however, we dont have a tester. The engine seems to be running ok... Is it agood idea to go ahead and change the coils out...and if so, do you have any tips for this process.....THanks a bunch...

Typically, OMC coils fail due to the outside covering becoming cracked allowing moisture in.<br /><br />If they work and are not cracked, save the good ones for later.
