Well the cold weather has set in this morning at 0600 it was -1f/-18c brrrrr
no moisture to speak of, infact what little snow we have is blowing away.
Both wood stoves are going, sheets are rolled up at the bottom of the doors to keep out the draft.

I hear ya. 2 nites ago we, in N WI, had -5F. The NWS is talking 8+" Tues. afternoon thru Wed. Need to get that plow on.....$$$

-16C here but what surprised me was I didn't have to scrape the truck at all. Zero frost on either vehicle.

But I sure am glad I remembered to plug it in last night. Guess I have to make it part of my routing now.

But the little snow we had is gone.

To you Mid-West guys i was watching the news and they were talking about one of the worst storms in years is getting its act together and will be heading that way this week.

I got a feeling this will be a rough winter even for us in the central South East states.
Mostly we get nailed with ice and freezing rain.

-15c according to my thermometer. -17C at the airport

Normal is 0C for this time of year.


But it's a dry cold.

....a tad cool guys! Here in Victoria...about -1?c. Not too bad at all but what is nice is crystal clear blue skies right now. Oh and of course being Victoria, no snow which allowed me to finish my fall raking.

Yeah, the midwest storm is just revving up here in SE WI . The local news is really giving mother nature some press. Oh no , the sky is falling Yeah, it is called snow and it happens. Looking forward to some real winter weather here in the following days.

Sunday was beautiful, out canoeing along the icy shores , breaking ice as we went. Can not wait to go out paddling in the snow tonight, very peaceful.

I wont be hitting any trails or anything but Grandma has a nicely cut 15 acre wheat field that will be calling me and the ZRT600 over there at this time tomorrow.

New to me sled shakedown run after a motor swap, hoping for atleast 6" of the snow.

Well. Looks like you might get your wish. Only -8 this morning and a light dusting. We should be in for snow soon. By next week I'm sure it will be raining here.

-6 below this morning with a 20-30mph wind and 40-60mph gusts are forecast late3r today and tonight. I-80 is closed in places due to blowing snow that WYDOT can not keep up with.. bbbbrrrrr

Had to break out the snow blower this past weekend and clear out the driveway.

Can't wait till Spring!!!!!
