Cold Weather

[Frugal Floater]

Looking at the long range models, looks like spring is not coming soon...I am a Meteorologist and the long range models show no signs of a warm weather in the east...will post this basic model link for you to see what is forecasted 10 days out at about 4000 feet above the surface...In short, Blue= 35 degrees or less for daytime highs at the surface.

Being in the blue would be great. I'm in the pink and purple.

Looks like snow on day 4-5.
Rain on 6-7, followed by more flurries on day 8.

Weather sure sucks right now in Southwest Ontario. Still snowing !!!!!......there goes my plans of getting the winter cover off this weekend !!!!......mind you it was 82 degrees 2 weeks ago and broke several records !!!

Hullarious...trust a meteorologist giving you lotto numbers?...better off asking you dog If there is any benefit of boating in the north it is not dealing with 100 degree heat and 100% humidity.

When do you Canadians usually de-winterize your boats?

Yesterday was a work day down at my uncle's river cottage where I boat during the season. Tasks were to put in the dock, put a new roof on the boat house, load his Hobie Cat from its trailer onto the dolley he uses to put it in/out of the water, and paint the screened in porch floor. It was scheduled in advance and I was obviously not looking forward to this day but I wasn't really dreading it either. Then I saw the weather reports. Ugh. It was a weird day on the roof of the boat house as one minute it was snowing, next it was sunny. All the time cold. All the work got done though (except the painting of course) so we're ready for the season. Too bad the season doesn't seem to be ready for us.

Brrr!!!

We had a little gathering of friends last night. Had to build a fire outside, but it was great. Nice and sunny here, upper 60s lower 70s today which is unusual for this time of year. Man, I couldn't imagine you folks who are still getting snow!!!​
