finally came up with a solution to the inflation problem myself an a lot of people seem to have with the coleman pumps. i removed the entire boston valve and put the tip in the hole. it will inflate one chamber in an intex seahawk II in 1 minute.

i attached a piece of 4 inch clear plastic hose to the end, 5/8 inside diameter - 7/8 outside diameter, it fits the adapter and hole for the boston valve perfectly. i then drilled a hole close to the end of the hose so it does not plug up when the bottom layer of the boat tries to suck up into the pump and plug it during deflation. just make sure you put a clamp on the adapter end of the hose so you don't lose it in the chamber when you pull it out.

not sure how to put a picture with it but i'll try

total cost- 0.79 for a foot of hose and 0.99 for the clamp.

you do have to be quick getting the plug back in.
