Colors on new ignition switch 90 Force

Can someone please tell me what color wires correspond to the following letters on the new ignition switch that had to be installed on my 92 force 90hp?
S=
I=
C=
M=
B=
M=
(How do I know which "M" is connected to which color?)
Hubby refused to let me tape and mark the wires first...now the engine won't start.
Thanks for any help.

look on your engine the colors are marked there c=choke i=ingition s=start g=ground

I know what the letters stand for...I need to know the color of wire that goes to each letter. Thanks

Depending on the wiring harness for your motor, the colors could vary.


S= Yelo or Yelo/red

I= Red or Red/blue

C=Green or yelo/black

M= Blue or Blue/black

B= RED

M= White or Black/yelo

The "M" terminals are interchangeable.

Thanks for all the info...here's what I found out. I originally had a Johnson Evinrude switch. It did not have an "I" terminal. It had an "A" terminal and two "M" terminals. Are the "I" on the Force switch and the "A" on the Johnson switch the same thing?
