i recently bought a minn kota engine mount trolling motor that i cant use because my boat sits too high in the water. i am going to buy a standard transom mount motor. can i connect the new motor to the engine mount motors black box and wired remote to have forward,reverse,speed and on off from the helm? any thoughts or input are greatly appreciated.
