One of the things on the todo list is to replace the old plastic seats..

here are the details

14ft fiberglass runabout
2 plast chairs now
Existing aluminum posts
Bimini top
Height of the console is real low, you have sit down to drive the boat.

It is a mckee 14fter

Use the boat to do a lot of water tubing with the kids and fishing - trolling and casting. I sit in the seat for a good 3-4 hours while towing the kids around.

Need
lower back support
swivel easily
Tilt would be nice or to be able to adjust the back angle
Not leather
Would like fold down but not critical

Thx!
tomatolord

Re: comfortable boat seats

Try a couple of Attwood SAS seats. You'll need to mount them on swivel bases but they're built like a car seat.

The major marine retailer have seats in stock so go there and try them out.

If you are willing to replace the post also, you can get adjustable ones.
