I thought I had downloaded showing how to remove the shifter but can not find it. My Commander 4000 shifter is loose. How do I remove the "throttle" only button to access mounting bolts? Thanks

With the handle straight up in neutral, push in the button, go to full throttle, then carefully pry out the button trying not to scratch everything up. Once the button is out go back to neutral, use a 11/16 socket to tighten or remove the handle. If the control mechanism is loose behind the side panel, there are bolts just behind the shift handle front and rear plastic cosmetic beauty cover that will pry out.

PS, you reinstall the button while your handle is still straight up for neutral..
