Comp Help= I NEED pop up to work

OK Gang- I'm doing my taxes and I need a pop up so I can print out the online authrization form. The damn pooter won't let it, it keeps blocking it. I have ad aware and spybot. How can I disable this to make it work?

I had that problem long ago. I think your software is blocking what it thinks is a popup. Try hitting Ctrl>Alt when it comes up.

Hold down the Ctrl key before selecting print.

If google toolbar popup blocker: Click on the top where it shows how many pages it has blocked, and it will unblock for that site.<br /><br />If Mozilla popup blocker: double click lil X on bottom left after it kills the popup, and it will give you a change to unblock that site.

If running XP-SP2 click on tools in IE and scroll down to pop-up blocker. You can disable there.

I've got adaware, spybot, and another popup blocker (part of my dial up 'acceleration' feature). Don't know hierarchy as to which is suppressing popups, but I can right click and get the option to 'allow popups from this site'. Have you tried that?

You should be able to alow pop ups in properties section of spybot... ad-aware alows them. More likely you have a pop up blocker such as msn toolbar, again you have to disable til you get what you need.<br /><br /> Jim
