compatible lower units for 1989 150 Yam?

I have a 1989 150 Yamaha with filings in lower unit. I would like to know what years were interchangeable for gear sets and/or complete lower units?

All 2.6 liter gear cases will interchnge with the present one. You didn't give the model number, but if it is a PRO-V 150 it has a 2/1 gearset. If not it is a 1.86/1 which was the same for the 150,175 and 200 (non Pro-V) engines.
