I just put together a rebuilt engine for my 1984' V4 115hp

As a reference I ran a compression check on the cylinders 1-4 and got 120, 110, 120, 100 seems the port bank is a little low. Should I be concerned at all?

Also is proper technique to squirt a little oil in each cylinder before measuring? These are dry measurements.

thanks!

proper way is to break the engine in first.
that and it depends on your definition of a rebuild.
mine may be different than yours.
did you check the piston rings with the transfer port covers off to insure you did not break one?

No, I bought the rebuilt from a company down in Florida.

I just reassembled the motor.

I ran it with 25:1 oil mix for around 30 minutes under load at 35% throttle so far.
