Wanted to do it all myself, but with work bein hell and just wanting to get on the water, I took it to the local shop..
Going to get it with the final paperwork, but the guy said the compression was 185ish on all cylinders?
Is that plausible? I know the guy I bought it from said it was around 115 few years ago... (since I got it, I've done a seafoam and MMO treatment (mmo swells seals a bit))

Thanks, just a random thought?

185 that seems pretty high even for a new engine. I wonder if that's psi or what . I guess if all 6 are uniform within 10% of each other its all good. maybe its a metric gauge I dunno.

Measurements vary a lot with different gauges, conditions and techniques. I think you are okay.

His gauge is broke. 135 is more like it.
