Compression test.

Completed a compression test this afternoon on the engine in my 87 Celebrity Calais. It has the 305 block engine and has 400hrs on it. On cylinders 2,4,6 and 8 they measured 150 #. On cylinder 1, 140 and 3,5 and 7 we got 145#. I'd say thats pretty good. Not? Adjusted the timing and air fuel mixture, as she had been running rich. Now she sounds ready to rock n roll!

I'd say those numbers a real good within 7%. Add a little Seafoam to her to get rid of any carbon and your good to go.
