compression test

what would be the best way to ground spark plug wires for a compression test.would a wire clip inside spark plug boot to engine ground be o.k.

The easiest way is leave the ignition switch in the "off" position and crank the engine by jumpering the starter solenoid.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
