comprop

Has anyone any experience with a comprop? I'm considering one for my 17 foot runabout with a 3.0 mercruiser

Hi Big D,<br />I used one for a yr before I started to sell them to the public. I think they are ok for a beginer,or boating in shallow and rocky areas. I like the 4 blade. They are not as fast as other props,but only by 1or2 mph.<br /><br />corm

I am currently running a comprop on a merc 200 OB, 4 blade 17 pitch, No problems, but as stated not as fast as SS or aluminum.
