I own a 2006 1660 Classic SS. Every time I am out on the lake, I get condensation inside the compartment where the trolling motor battery is stored. Anything I store in there gets fairly wet. I am pretty sure this is a function of the lake water cooling the aluminum enough to reach the dew point. I am sure there has to be a reason that Lund didn't insulate this compartment.
Has anyone found a solution for this? I have read some other forums that mention using a spray in bed liner. Has anyone tried this? Not sure if this would have any negative consequences on the aluminum.
