Coger, You are overthinking this. A rectifier consists of 4 diodes arranged in a square, with their leads tied together. Each diode is a one-way gate. So, each good diode will have continuity one was and no continuity the other way.
So pick two adjacent connections and put the ohmmeter on them. Now switch the ohmmeter leads. You should have zero resistance one way and infinite resistance the other way. You can test it with a 1.5 volt light bulb and a batter. With the wires connected One way the light will be on, and when switched the other way it will be off.
