Confused serial numbers.

Hi Y'all.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas.
I recently aquired what may be a 1988 Merc 150 XR2
However the number on the clamp is A905458 and the number on the block is B122156. It is common as we all know that heads are swopped but I have a feeling that this head may not be a 150. The B number does not show as a 150, at least where I am looking.
Can anyone enlighten me please.
