Congratulations to Spain!!

Wow....hats off to Spain for their World Cup (Soccer) win. I just a bit of the game but I have to say it was a heck of a party.
The final game was watched by something between 600-750 million people around the world...which is like...20 times the population of Canada.
The parade through Madrid looked unbelievable....would have loved to been in that crowd!!...am I'm not even a big soccer fan, yet.
Anyhow, its a great win for a Country who could use a boost right now.
Hopefully Canada will get it together to field a team and finally get a little more competitive in this sport at some point.
Regardless, good on ya' guys, nice win and enjoy!!

Well done Spain, but what an awful game unfortunately....and of course in the finest tradition of bronze medal games in just about all sports....the Germany ~ Uraguay match on Saturday was probably the best of the entire world Cup!

Yep, Congratulations to the Spanish team.
Watched the whole game. Too many cards issued but the best team in the final won the game.
I agree that Canada need to get more into this sport and field a competitive team. Would be nice to see. The USA team certainly did not disgrace themselves either. Watch for them being a major competitor in 4 years time.
