Bp In the United States you are not required to have a gun in nearly every city and state,(thankfully I might add) also and not to bring Politics into this but It is my opinion that the congresswoman(a democrat) was having a town hall meeting or a meet and greet if you will Democrats are the party that is for gun control, I believe this douchebag went to this meet and greet because he knew that they are democrats and therefore they would not have guns to defend themselves. Arizona is arguably one of the most pro gun states in the USA, I was born and raised in Tucson and this hit close to home to me. I in no way condone the actions of this guy and I pray for the victims no matter what party they are in but I believe this coward thought this would be a victim friendly area, no guns to oppose him and he could reek havoc unopposed, The fact that he was taken alive just adds to my theory/opinion, since the incident several persons who carry came forward and stated that before they could intervene into the situation people had overpowered the gunman.
As stated I am not bringing my politics into this, only that politics was a motive in this cowards actions, this is my theory/opinion and mine alone at this point
I agree that this will just be made into another chip off the 2nd Ammendment. Very sad, my condolences go out to all the families who have been disrupted by the hands of this mad man.
