Connecting amp to 24v trolling motor

Can I hook up a 4 channel amp to my trolling motor batteries, the trolling motor is 24 volts i would like to hook up the amp to one of the two batteries.

Yes. But for safety sake connect ONLY to the POS and NEG terminal of the the first battery in the string, not the one the trolling motor POSITIVE cable is connected to. This eliminates the possiblity of feeding 24V to the amp should you inadvertently create a ground to anywhere else in the boat.
