connector plug

Can someone please tell me the best method for removing a pin in a connector plug. I had a wire pull out and now need to re-attach it.

i just usually splice into the wire, on both side of the big plug, and use a bullet connector.

TD has the right answer..bypass the plug, bullet connectors work great
