Just trying my backup prop, a 21" pitch on a FORCE 125, Bayliner 18.5' cc.<br /> 1 wot is just under 5000 rpm<br /> 2 lost 4 mph<br /> 3 steering pulls hard to right<br /> 4 engine is much quieter though at 3/4 throtle<br />Are there other consequenses to loading the engine in that manner.<br /><br />------------------

Yeah, Sony. Greatly shorteneed engine life. Running over-propped is like running an auto up mountains in 5th gear. Even if she doesn't overheat the cooling system, she will overheat the combustion chambers.<br /><br />Swap her down a couple of inches. If you don't find a good used/rebuilt one, ComProp is a good value in a spare.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . . .<br />JB
