constantly needs choking to run...

Hi Guys

I have a 2000 model 2 stroke 50hp johnson and having issues with it running as it requires constant choking to keep it running, I have replaced all fuel and oil lines, could it be the carby?

after researching, will look at replacing my old 2 stroke in the reservoir and clean the main jets in the carby

Yes it is probably the carb clean it well
